FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced Bailey Puckett as their Women's Track Athlete of the Week. This is Puckett's third career MIAA Track Athlete of the Week award.
 
Puckett ran to the third best mark in Division III this season on Friday at the Grand Valley State Big Meet. Her time of 4:49.53 in the mile run marked a more than six second personal best and ranks second in Trine history behind only eight-time All-American Evie Miller.
 
On Saturday she came back for more, this time at 3000 meters. She followed her personal best in the mile with another in the 3k. She finished in 9:56.90, and ranks second in Trine history.
 
The Thunder head to Hillsdale College on Saturday for their final tune up before next week's MIAA Championships.
