FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has named Connor Ballantyne as their men's lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.
This is the first time the sophomore has earned the weekly award. It is also the first time this season for a member of the team.
The Trenton, Ohio native led the Thunder to a 15-9 victory in their season opener against Wittenberg University. He tied atop the team with four points, all coming on a game-high four goals. His goals were split equally between the first and second halves of the contest.
Trine will play their second game as their home opener when Carroll (Wis.) University comes to town. That game is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 21.
