ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University baseball team has announced their 2026 schedule. The 40 game slate features 14 home games. Series against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association competition will be three games with one game on Friday and a nine-inning double header on Saturdays.
 
Trine opens their season next Saturday, February 21 against preseason #17 Centre (Ky.) before heading to Florida for their spring break trip. The Thunder will play nine games in seven days in the Sunshine State. The trip opens with a game against Chatham University, the next two days feature double headers against Saint Mary's (Minn.) and Wentworth (Mass.) before a day off. March 4^th sees Trine take on Saint Vincent College and Waynesburg University. Trine closes the trip with games against Bluffton University and John Carroll University on March 6.
 
Trine's home opener is March 14^th and 15^th with a three-game series against Manchester University. The Thunder hit the road for the next four, one at Anderson University, then a road double header at Wright State – Lake before travelling to the Buckeye State to take on Ohio Northern University.
 
Trine opens MIAA play on March 27-28 against Kalamazoo, Olivet is Trine's midweek opponent this season. After Kalamazoo the Thunder will play Hope, Alma, Adrian, and Albion in the weekend series. April 29^th and 30^th will see the Thunder travel to a pair of minor league parks. Trine will play Manchester at Parkview Field, the home of the Single-A Fort Wayne Tincaps. The Thunder begin their final conference series on April 30^th against Calvin University, they will do so a LMCU Ballpark. LMCU Ballpark is home to the West Michigan Whitecaps, a Midwest League rival of the Tincaps.
