ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University baseball team has announced three camps in the upcoming months.
The first camp on the slate is the Senior Prospect Camp, open to 2027 high school graduates, on Sunday, August 30. The event is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The Thunder coaching staff and players will run a defensive combine and batting practice in the morning before hosting a game in the afternoon. On Sunday, October 25, the program will host a Senior / Junior Prospect Camp, open to 2027 and 2028 high school graduates. The camp is also scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The Thunder coaching staff and players will run a defensive combine and batting practice in the morning before hosting a game in the afternoon. Both of the prospect camps are set to be held at Jannen Field on the Angola, Indiana campus of Trine University. Trine's new Thunder Dome will serve as host in the event of inclement weather.
Finally, the team has announced that they will host a High School Camp on Sunday, December 13. This camp is open to all high school students, grades 9th through 12th and will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Thunder coaching staff and players will conduct sessions focused on hitting, pitching and defense for high school players looking to compete at the college level.
