MARSHALL, Mich. – Rylee Smith took medalist honors at the Medalist Golf Course in Marshall, Michigan this afternoon at the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament. Smith tallied 151 strokes over the 36-hole competition. As a team, Trine took fifth place behind MIAA foes Kalamazoo, Saint Mary's, Hope, and Calvin.
 
Smith earned six birdies throughout the competition, she posted a 78 on day one and a 73 this afternoon. She birdied hole seventeen on both days.
 
Natalie Kulka tied for 15^th, rallying from a first day 86 with a day two total of 80. She made birdie on eleven this afternoon.
 
Cassidy Hawken tied for 29^th place with a two day total of 172 strokes. She added a birdie on hole twelve today.
 
Brooke Anderson rounded out the Thunder's top four with a two day total of 178 strokes, tied for 44^th place.
 
Trine heads to Normal, Illinois for the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic next Friday and Saturday at Ironwood Golf Course.
