FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer coaches have released the results of their annual preseason poll. The Trine University women's soccer team checked in at fourth, just one spot behind rival Adrian College. Calvin is projected to win the conference with their rivals Hope College in second place.
Trine returns first team All-MIAA and third team All-Region selection
Abby Robison to lead the offense. Fellow third team All-Great Lakes Region teammate
Reganne Koskela will anchor the defense alongside senior
Francesca Fronczak. Trine will look to Division I transfers
Olivia Hill and
Dana Fish for further production. Hill comes to Angola after spending last season at Winthrop in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The native Zionsville, Indiana will tend the goal for the Thunder. Fish transfers in from Valparaiso after four seasons with the Beacons. She netted four goals and three assists in her time and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman team in 2021.
The Thunder open their season on Friday evening at Hanover.
