FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's golf coaches have released the results of their annual preseason poll. Saint Mary's College was picked as the favorite to defend their conference title from last year. The Trine University Thunder were picked second and tallied 15 points and four first place votes.
 
Trine returns two All-MIAA selections from last season's MIAA runner-up showing. Rylee Smith earned first team All-MIAA honors in her first season. Natalie Kulka capped her sophomore season with second team All-MIAA kudos.
 
The Thunder open their season on Tuesday when they host the Trine Kickoff Classic at Zollner Golf Course.
