NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced their 2025 All-Academic teams and athletes. The Trine University men's and women's track and field teams each earned the team award and eight individuals were named All-Academic Athlete.
 
For a team to earn the All-Academic Team award it must have a GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester. The men's team earned a team GPA of 3.321 and the women's team posted a 3.615 GPA.
 
An individual must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period and be ranked in the top 50 nationally in an individual event or on a relay team ranked in the top 35. The women's team earned five selections; second team All-American Bailey Puckett and 10,000-meter national qualifier Sidney Swick led the way. Halle Overmire, Abby Sanner, and Eleanor Young each earned the award as well. The men's team saw three individuals honored. Two-time national qualifier Ethan Spahr led the trio that included Max Van Huis and Maxwell Harris.
