GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) has announced their ninth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars" for the 2024-25 school year. For the second straight season, 14 members of the team earned the distinction.
In order to qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester and appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
Leading the way for the Thunder was junior Sam Antenucci who becomes the only player on the team to earn the distinction for the third time in his career. Senior Tyler Blanchard and junior Sean Henry joined sophomores Aleksa Babic, Brendan Finn and Blake Tierney on each earning their second All-American Scholar award.
Senior Tyler Fox and sophomore Eathan Janda joined six freshmen in debuting on the list to round out the team's delegation. Those first years included Alexander Babich, Luke deVries, Drew Jeffers, Max Marquette, Ronnie Petrucci and Lem Vardy.
