AUGUSTANA, Ill. – Zion Jackson lowered his school record in the 200-meter dash by .10 seconds to 21.29 at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier. The Trine University Track and Field team sent a small group for a final chance at NCAA Championships Qualifying marks.
 
Jackson finished seventh in the 200-meter dash and ran the third leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished 10^th in 41.20 seconds. On the relay was Max Harris, Jayjouir Roberts, Jackson, and Braden Estep.
 
Bailey Puckett set a personal best in the 1500-meter run in 4:28.87 and ranks 22nd in Division III.
 
Ethan Spahr set a personal best in the 110-meter hurdles of 15.74 and moves to #7 in program history.
 
The top 22 individuals and 16 relays will qualify for the NCAA Championships next week in Geneva, Ohio. The qualifiers will be announced on Friday. Spahr ranks 8^th in the decathlon, Sidney Swick is 8^th in the 10,000-meter run, Jackson is 9^th in the 110-meter hurdles and Puckett is 22^nd in the 1500-meter run.
