ANGOLA, Ind. – The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League has announced their 2025 All-MCVL teams. The Trine University Men's Volleyball team earned three selections. Seniors
Kevin Boncaro,
Ethan McLenon,
Carter Steffgen and
Bryan Maida were recognized, with Boncaro earning first team honors and McLenon and Maida were named honorable mention.
This marks Boncaro's third consecutive First-Team MCVL honor. Boncaro led the MCVL in kills per set with 4.47 and was second in kills with 360 while hitting an MCVL 10
th best .278. He added 20 aces for a total of 406.0 points. Defensively, Boncaro added 154 digs and 39 blocks. He is Trine's all-time leader in kills and points.
McLenon earns his first MCVL honor, the middle blocker posted 124 kills, 19 service aces and 29 blocks on the season.
Steffgen earns his first MCVL honor, the senior outside hitter had 140 kills, 13 aces, and 17 blocks.
Maida also earned his first MCVL honor after starting 22 matches at libero. Maida added 204 digs and 31 assists on the year. Maida's 204 digs were tied for fourth best in the MCVL.
Trine takes on Mount Union in the MCVL Semifinals tomorrow night. The Purple Raiders will host the tournament which will conclude on Saturday with the MCVL Championship Game.
