FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced their Men's Track and Field Coach of the Year. Thunder head coach
Ben Markison has been named this year's recipient.
In Markison's first year as head coach he extended Trine's streak of MIAA Championships to six straight indoor titles and 10 consecutive between indoor and outdoor. The Thunder earned three first-team All-MIAA selections across five different events, seven second-team selections and
Ethan Spahr was named Field Event MVP.
Trine's 181 points were the fourth most points over the streak of titles and the 47 point margin of victory is also the fourth largest.
