ANGOLA, Ind. –Sidney Wagner has been named to the D3hoops.com All-Region VII teams. Wagner earns her third consecutive First-Team All-Region VII award. She becomes the second player in program history to earn three consecutive first team awards. Brandi Dawson earned her three from 2016-19.
 
Wagner was named MIAA Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player and First-Team All-MIAA this season. Wagner became the first women's basketball player to earn MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season and is the second player in program history to earn multiple MIAA MVP awards.
 
Wagner led the Thunder with 16.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. She led Trine to an unbeaten MIAA regular season and the first outright MIAA Regular Season Championship since 2018-19.
