ANGOLA, Ind.- The trio of
Braden Estep,
Maxwell Harris, and
Jayjouir Roberts swept the podium in the men's 60-meter dash to lead the Trine University Track and Field team at Friday evening's Mrs. G Invitational. Estep dipped under seven seconds for the win at 6.98, Harris and Roberts crossed in 7.08 and 7.10, respectively.

Max Van Huis was again dominant, classing the field in the 800 and 1-mile runs. He won the mile in 4:19.51 and later took the 800 in 1:58.43.
Ryan Hoopingarner was fourth in the mile in 4:27.25 and
Eli Shoup was fifth in the 800, crossing in 2:01.53. All four of those efforts set new personal bests.

In the 60-meter hurdles final,
Zion Jackson was third in 8.31 seconds, Jackson took fourth in the triple jump with a hop, skip, and jump of 13.15 meters/43' 1.75".

Trine took the top two spots in the 4x400-meter relay.

Blane Johnson,
Jack Melvin, and
Zack Gaynor narrowly beat the team of
Brady Snyder,
Philip Nemecek,
Tyler Hartleroad, and
Morgan Johnson by just .06 seconds.

Ethan Spahr set a new personal best in the pole vault, clearing 4.55 meters/14' 11" and placing second.

Dillon Dennison heaved the weight 15.84 meters/51' 11.75" for a fourth place finish.

Trine heads to the Grand Valley State Big Meet next weekend, February 14
th and 15
th.
