ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Men's Track and Field team closed out their indoor regular season at the Hillsdale Tune Up meet with 13 top-5 finishes.
Jackson Keiser,
Morgan Johnson, and
Cameron Elias secured spots 3-5 in the 60-meter dash. Keiser and Elias pulled double duty in the 200-meter dash taking second and third.
Owen Sulecki took fourth in the 400 dash with a personal best of 54.29.
Ryan DeHaan and
William Kleber were the lone representatives from the distance squad and put up strong showings. DeHaan crossed third in the 800-meter run and Kleber was second in the mile with a personal best of 4:46.42.
Isaiah Pryor and
Clayton Griswold took fourth and fifth in the long jump. Pryor leaped 5.81 meters/19' .75" and Griswold was close behind at 5.79 meters/19' 0".
Trace Stookey and
Colton Zableckis took fourth and fifth as well in the shot put. Stookey established a new career-best effort of 13.52 meters/44' 4.25".
Dillon Dennison was fifth in the weight throw. Trine scored 78 points and finished in third place. The Thunder host the MIAA Championships next year are seeking their 6
th consecutive indoor title and 10
th consecutive MIAA Championship.
