ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University softball team has announced that they will host a hitting clinic on Saturday, December 6.

The hitting clinics are a great chance for softball players to learn the techniques used by the elite hitters that led have led the Thunder to two of the last three NCAA Division III National Championships. Last season the national champion squad finished the season top-ten in the nation in home runs, RBIs, hits, doubles, slugging percentage and scoring.

Sessions will be focused on hitting fundamentals and drills that have helped Trine succeed at the plate. The clinic is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. inside of Hershey Hall, utilizing both Ketner and West Gyms.

The clinic carries a cost of $70 for each attendee and there are only 50 spots available. Refunds will not be issued.
