FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has named Jordan Budzinski their Volleyball Specialist of the Week. This is Budzinski's first career Athlete of the Week award.
 
Budzinski anchored the Thunder defense to a pair of victories last week. She posted 39 digs and six aces on the week. As a team the Thunder limited Kalamazoo to -.007 hitting, Budzinski dug 23 Hornet attacks. She added 8 assists on the week.
 
The Thunder are winners of six of their last eight and host Albion College on Wednesday. The Britons have garnered national attention in the latest AVCA Coaches' Poll, earning 14 votes.
