COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Triathlon Coaches Association has released a round of national rankings with the Trine University women's triathlon team second among NCAA Division III teams.
The Thunder are currently 19th overall, including teams from all three NCAA divisions. They sit behind just North Central College in the Division III ranks. Trine currently hods 406.53 points in the ranking with the Cardinals sitting at 414.88. The overall number one is Arizona State University with Arizona in second by less than two tenths of a point.
Individually Grace Huisman continues to lead the Thunder sitting third among her division opponents and 125th overall. Mia Griesmeyer is fourth among the division and 144th overall.
Trine will head to the Prairie State Cup for their next competition. The event, which is hosted by Millikin University is scheduled to start at 10:15 a.m. ET / 9:15 a.m. CT on Saturday, October 4.
