ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Track and Field teams are set to begin indoor competition tomorrow at the Saginaw Valley Sate Holiday Open. The Thunder's indoor schedule features nine competitions including three inside the Keith E. Busse Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center.
 
After this weekend, Trine will be off for over a month for winter break before returning to action on January 18^th when they host the Sean Brady Alumni Invitational. The Thunder then head to Hillsdale for the Wide Track Classic and Wittenberg for the Steemer Showcase.
 
The Thunder then return to the ARC for the Mrs. G Invitational on February 7^th. From there they head to Allendale, Mich. for the Grand Valley State Big Meet. The final tune up before hosting the conference meet comes in a return trip to Saginaw for the SVSU Tune Up. The Thunder again will host the MIAA Championships on March 1^st where the men will look to continue their streak of five consecutive indoor championships and nine consecutive overall championships.
 
Trine then heads to Waverly, Iowa for the Wartburg Final Qualifier where athletes will vie for one of the 22 spots at the NCAA III Indoor Championships the following week in Rochester, NY.
