NEW ORLEANS – The Trine University Women's Cross Country finished the season by moving up two spots to #28 in the final USTFCCCA Coaches' poll.
 
Trine placed 28^th at the NCAA Division III National Championships to earn their spot in the poll. Trine topped Great Lakes Regional Champion, DePauw in Saturday's action.
 
Trine finished the season third in the Great Lakes Region behind the Tigers and #15 Calvin.
 
The Thunder conclude their season with their best MIAA finish in five seasons, tied their best effort at both the Great Lakes Regional and National Championships. This marked the second time in program history the Thunder qualified for the NCAA Championships.
