ANGOLA, Ind. – Trine University has qualified for both the Men's and Women's MIAA Soccer Tournaments, with both teams set to host matches during the upcoming week.

The Women's Soccer team earned the third seed with a 5-2-1 record in conference play, they will host sixth seeded Saint Mary's on Saturday on Shive Field at 1 p.m. The regular season matchup between the two teams ended in a lopsided victory for the Thunder.

Samantha Sanderlin all posted goals in the 3-0 victory hosted by the Belles.

The men's squad claimed their first MIAA regular season championship by drawing with Hope College in the final game of the regular season. Both teams finished with a 5-0-2 record in MIAA play, ending as co-champions. Trine secured the top seed for the tournament based on tiebreakers and will host a semi final match on Tuesday, November 5. Their opponent will be determined on Saturday.

Tickets are required for all MIAA postseason events. They can be purchased at the gate or
online, but all fans are strongly encouraged to make their purchases before arriving at Zollner Stadium. Pricing is $8 for adults, $5 for MIAA faculty/staff and non-MIAA students. Admission for children under 5 and MIAA students is free of charge.
