SOUTH BEND, Ind. –
Rylee Smith brought home medalist honors today at the MIAA Jamboree #3 to lead the Trine University Women's Golf team to a third place finish.
Kayleigh Agugliaro tied for sixth. Saint Mary's claimed the team title.

Smith was incredibly consistent this afternoon, the freshman started the day on hole 14 with a par and that quickly became the theme of the day as she nailed 13 pars to start the round before her bid for a bogey free round came to an end on hole nine. She finished the round with an impressive 16 pars to finish with a two-over par 74.

Fellow freshman
Kayleigh Agugliaro finished in a tie for sixth with 80 total strokes, she recorded birdies on the par-5 sixth and par-4 eighteenth. She added 10 pars as the two freshmen led the Thunder at the Elbel Park Golf Course.

Grace Dubec and
Natalie Kulka were the other top finishers for Trine. They finished in a tie for 21
st place with 85 strokes.

The Thunder had three other golfers competing today,
Brooke Anderson finished 16
th with 83 strokes and
Bailey Bravata and
Grace Thiele were 24
th with 86 strokes.
