ADRIAN, Mich. – The Trine Men's Golf wrapped up their fall schedule with a second place finish at MIAA Jamboree #4. Trine finished with 301 total strokes for 13 over par. Jack Besner was the top individual for the Thunder finishing fourth at even par. Calvin claimed the team title with 293 strokes. Hope and hosts Adrian tied for third with 303 strokes.
 
Besner highlighted his day with an eagle on the par 4 twelfth. He added three more birdies including back to back birdies on the par 4 fifth and par 3 sixth. He added nine pars to close the round with an even 72.
 
Carter Schnipke and Garrett James tied for 10^th with rounds of 75. Schnipke holed a birdie on the par 5 seventh and was incredibly consistent the rest of the round, carding 13 pars.
 
James notched back to back birdies on the par 5 fourteenth and par 3 fifteenth. James started his round with seven consecutive pars and finished with three in a row to earn his 75.
 
Jake Bilby rounded out the Thunder's top four in 26^th place with a 79. He birdied the par 4 second and fourteen. He added 8 pars to his round including four in a row on seven through ten.
 
This concludes the fall season for Trine. They return to the course in the spring.
