KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Trine University men's tennis team was swept by their hosts from Kalamazoo College in today's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) dual match.

The Hornets made quick work of the doubles portion of the day with the closest match coming in the No. 1 contest where sophomore Aaron Streit (New Paris, Ind. / Fairfield) and freshman Ryan Smith (Peru, Ind. / Peru) were defeated 8-2.

The Thunder were even more outpaced in the second portion of the match with Kalamazoo sweeping three of the six singles matches.

Trine falls to 10-4 overall and 2-1 in MIAA play following the loss. The team will take the courts again when they travel to face Albion College on Wednesday, April 14 for a 4 p.m. match.
