ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University men's tennis team fell to visiting Calvin College in their final competition of the season by the score of 9-0.

Despite not picking up a win the Thunder played tough through all of the doubles matches. Coming closest to a victory was the No. 1 team of senior Blake Trusty (Fremont, Ind. / Fremont) and Evan Trusty (Fremont, Ind. / Fremont) who fell in the match 8-6.

Freshman Jaxon Davis (Angola, Ind. / Angola) came close to a victory of his own in the single portion of the competition. He forced a super tiebreaker in the No. 3 match before falling with scores of 4-6, 6-3, 6-10.

The Thunder finish the season 9-10 overall and 3-4 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play following the loss.
