LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trine University's Emma Lee received national recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for her performance last week. She has been named this week's Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week.
This is the second time in the senior's career that she has earned the national award, making her the first Thunder softballer to take home the honor multiple times. It is the fifth time that a Trine student-athlete has earned either the pitcher or position player of the week award from the NFCA.
