Dominski Scores Six, Women's Lacrosse Rolls Terriers 22-3.

HIRAM, Ohio – Izabelle Dominski netted six goals and three assists to lead the Trine University women's lacrosse team to a dominant 22-3 win over the Hiram College Terriers on Saturday afternoon. The Thunder (3-0) set a program record for points in a single game with 36. Hiram falls to 0-3.
 
Trine assisted on 14 of their 22 goals, those marks are the third and fourth most in a single game. Trine caused 17 turnovers, the ninth most. Dominski's nine points are the sixth most in a game.
 
Trine jumped all over the Terriers early on, rolling up a 12-1 lead after the first quarter. Hayden Dahlinger and Dominski completed hat tricks in the first quarter, Dominski added two assists. Erin Fariello had two of her four goals in the period. Trine extended the lead to 14-2 by halftime with Dominski and Dahlinger netting the goals.
 
Trine added five more goals in the third period as they squashed any chance of a comeback. Fariello and Dominski each scored a pair of goals and Sienna Coventry added her first career goal. The fourth quarter saw the Thunder add three more goals. Jenna Johnson and Carmen Blaine each scored their first career goals. Kelsey Yanagihara got the win in goal and made a pair of saves while facing just five shots.
 
The Thunder host Wisconsin-Stout in their next game, a 1 p.m. contest on Shive Field on March 15.
