NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced their 2026 All-Region performers for the indoor track and field season. The Trine University women's track and field team had four athletes earn six All-Great Lakes Region honors.
Bailey Puckett and
Eleanor Young each scored two selections to lead the Thunder.
The top eight individuals and relays in each of the 10 regions earned all-region awards. The rankings are determined by the TFRRS descending order list and are compiled from the entirety of the indoor season. Trine is a part of the Great Lakes Region.
Puckett finished with the top time in the region in the mile run and the second best effort in the 3000. Her time of 4:49.53 qualified her for the NCAA Championships this weekend. Her time of 9:56.90 is second best in program history along with her mile time. This is Puckett's sixth All-Region honor.
Young claimed her first two All-Region awards with the fourth best mark in the 3000-meters and the seventh best in the mile. Her times of 10:03.61 and 4:57.87 both rank third in Trine history.
Chloe Goodrich was also named All-Region in the 3000-meters. This is Goodrich's second All-Region honor. Her time of 10:11.25 is fourth best in program history.
A trio of Thunder earned their first career All-Region honors in the field events.
Brooklyn Kerry finished fifth in the triple jump. Her performance established a new program record at 11.47 meters/37' 7.75".
Hannah Flores Ness was sixth in the region in the pentathlon with a school record mark of 2,962 points.
Jill Taylor was eighth regionally in the long jump with a leap of 5.56 meters/18' 3". Her performance ranks second in program history.
