ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's triathlon team finished second at their home hosted Splash N Dash. The team finished with four racers in the top ten individually.

Central College won the event with 80 points while the Thunder came up with a total of 77 points and Northern Kentucky University finished third with 68 points.

Mia Griesmeyer led the team with a time of 23:49, finishing third overall as an individual and accounting for 20 points toward the team total. Tessa Szymanski came in just behind her with a time of 24:04, securing 19 points of her own.

Lia Bartholomew finished just outside of the top five with a time of 26:37 and 17 points. Alyssa Seiter rounded out the top-ten with a 28:05 mark. Paige Aselage rounded out the scoring times for the team with a 28:33.

Trine will make a quick turn around and travel to the Beaver County Tri Cup hosted by Duquesne University. The race is set to start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20.
