DECATUR, Ill. – Fresh off an emotional game that saw them end the defending national champions 11-game win streak, the Trine University women's soccer team refused to be caught in the moment this evening. The Thunder (3-1-2) took a 3-1 victory over the Millikin Big Blue (3-3-1). Three different Thunder netted goals in the win.

Trine ripped off 18 shots in the game, 13 of which were on target. The defense limited the Big Blue to just four and three shots on goal.
Madison Kinneer made a pair of first half saves in the net for Trine. Trine turned the heat on early,
Erin Scully fired a shot bottom right just 47 seconds in.

Abby Robison each registered shots on goal before
Lilly White scored the first goal for the Thunder in the 20
th minute. Trine took the 1-0 lead into the break.

It was more of the same from the Thunder offense in the second half. Trine's first shot on goal came in the 49
th minute off a corner kick,
Maggie McDowell was unable to find the net, but
Darcy Satkowiak corralled the miss and fired one of her own, her shot was turned away as well. Trine earned three more corner kicks over the next eight minutes, Trine converted those into two more shots on goal. McDowell earned a penalty kick when the Big Blue committed a foul in their own goal box. She converted the attempt for her first goal of the season. The Big Blue responded with a PK goal of their own. Trine responded less than three minutes later with another corner kick. This time
