ANGOLA, Ind. – Four women netted hat tricks for the Trine University Women's Lacrosse team in a 14-9 win over the Adrian College Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon. Trine is now 6-2 (1-0 MIAA) the Bulldogs drop to 8-2 (0-1 MIAA).

Brooke Hoag,
Izabelle Dominski, and
Elizabeth Larson all recorded hat tricks in the win.
After a 1-0 Adrian lead, Trine scored the next six goals from four different players. Keptner and Dominski added two each, Dominski assisted
Lillian O'Neal on her goal and
Brooke Hoag scored with help from
Avelyn McCall. The run set the tone for the first three quarters with Trine dominating both ends of the field. Trine caused 13 turnovers and took advantage of 11 more uncaused. The Thunder also held advantages in draw controls and ground balls.
Kelsey Yanagihara was impressive in the crease making nine of her 10 saves in the first three quarters. Trine led 7-2 at half time.
Dominski capped off her hat trick with a man up goal to open the scoring in the third period, Larson got her first goal with 15 seconds left as she euro stepped through the defense and beat the goalie. Trine appeared set to sail away with the win as Larson scored her second and Keptner completed her hat trick to give Trine an 11-3 lead. Adrian found some offense in the fourth quarter as they mounted a comeback attempt, scoring four of the next five goals. Hoag provided the buffer with her third goal of the afternoon. Leading 12-7 and in need of an answer,
Sydney Weiss muscled toward the crease for her lone goal of the day. Larson put the hosts up 14-7 as she notched her hat trick.
Trine hosts Albion on Saturday as they continue MIAA play at 7:00 P.M.
