ANGOLA, Ind. - The Trine University Men's Rugby team kicks off their Spring 7's campaign this weekend in Kansas City, MO at the City 7's Tournament. The tournament is an automatic qualifier for NCR's Collegiate Rugby Championship 7's tournament in Washington DC at the end of April.
Trine will compete in the Premier Bracket consisting of 12 teams in four pools of three teams each. The winner of each pool will move on to the Cup Semifinals, second place will move on to the Plate semifinal and 3rd place will move on to the Bowl semifinals. The winner on the Cup will gain an automatic berth to nationals. Trine is in pool 4 and will play Benedictine College at 10:40am on the stadium field and Adrian College at 12:00pm on field two.
The Tournament will be played at the Kansas City Current training facility at 1 Teal Rising Way in Riverside, MO
