ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Men's and Women's Track and Field teams are set to host the MIAA Championships on Saturday. The Men's and Women's Basketball teams will begin Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament action this Friday in the Semifinal round.
The men's track and field team is in search of their 6
th consecutive indoor MIAA crown and 10
th consecutive title. Trine is currently ranked 1
st in the MIAA in this week's United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track and Field Rating Index (TFRI).
The women's track and field team is seeking their first MIAA title since 2022 and third overall. The Thunder rank 1
st in this week's USTFCCCA TFRI.
The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m. with running events starting at 12:30 p.m. Doors will open one hour prior to tip off. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. For those not attending, live stats and

The women's team is 23-2 and have tied the record for most regular season wins in program history. The Thunder ride a 15 game unbeaten streak dating back to December 29
th and are ranked #11 in the D3hoops.com poll. Trine secured it's sixth MIAA regular season title and first unbeaten MIAA slate since 2018-19 in Saturday's win over Kalamazoo. Trine will host the semifinals and finals of the MIAA Tournament inside the MTI Center. The semifinals begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a matchup between Hope and Calvin. Trine will take on Albion in the second game scheduled to start 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The MIAA Championship will be played on Saturday at 7:30.

th in the NCAA NPI rankings and hold the 17
