FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has named
Sidney Swick their Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This is Swick's third Runner of the Week award this season.
Swick joined Amanda Portis and Evie Miller (Bultemeyer) as the third individual conference cross country champion in program history with her win on Saturday. Swick crossed the line in 21:07.9 and earned MIAA Most Valuable Runner and First-Team honors. She now holds back-to-back First-Team selections. Swick is ranked 28
th nationally in FloTrack's individual rankings. Swick led Trine to it's first women's cross country conference championship on Saturday.
The Thunder are off this week to prepare for the NCAA Great Lakes Region Championships. Trine is ranked #1 in the region and #8 in the country as a team.
