ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's cross country team's historic season added a little more history on Wednesday as the team earned its highest ever ranking in a national poll for the third time this season. Trine checks in at #8 in this week's United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) coaches' poll following their second-place finish at the Augustana Interregional Rumble. Trine moved up 9 spots from last week's coaches' poll.
Trine ranks 11th in the latest FloTrack.com poll, moving up four spots from the previous edition. In the D3 Glory Days poll, a dedicated Division III Track and Field and Cross Country media outlet, the Thunder check in at #7. Trine is eighth in the USTFCCCA Cross Country Ratings Index, which ranks teams based off individual performances.

Sidney Swick moves up eight spots to #20, following a second-place finish of her own at Augustana. Swick finished behind Jules Bleskowski of RPI, who is ranked #1 individually.
Trine returns to action on Saturday, November 1 at the MIAA Championships, hosted by The University of Olivet.
