AUSTIN, Texas – The Trine University women's cross country team remained 17th in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association poll. Trine is ranked 15th in the FloTrack Rankings, which did not release a poll this week ahead of this weekend's interregional competition.

The Thunder remained unbeaten against Division III competition last weekend at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic. Trine placed second of 47 teams, behind only Division I Kennesaw State. The Thunder head to the Augustana (Ill.) Interregional Rumble where they will be one of 12 teams competing that are in the USTFCCCA's latest rankings.

Trine has achieved its highest ever ranking in women's cross country this season, checking in at #15 in both the USTFCCCA poll and the FloTrack poll. Sidney Swick and Bailey Puckett rank inside the top 50 nationally as individuals. Swick is #28 while Puckett is #46.
