ANGOLA, Ind. – The #13 Trine University Women's Basketball team put on a dominant performance on both sides of the ball in Saturday afternoon's 66-38 win over Albion at the MTI Center.
Sidney Wagner led the offense with 16 points and a quartet of players with four rebounds. Trine limited the Britons to just 25% shooting and forced 21 turnovers. Trine is 16-2 (9-0 MIAA) and winners of 8 straight. Albion drops to 7-11 (5-4 MIAA).

Trine dominated the first three quarters, allowing just 11 first half points and held a 49-18 lead after three quarters. A quick 9-0 lead forced an Albion timeout, the timeout did little to slow the Thunder, after surrendering a triple, Trine scored the next five to end the first quarter with a 14-3 lead.
Katie Tate led the way with four first quarter points.

Trine limited the Britons to just 8 second quarter points, Wagner,
Sydney Horton, and
Addison Hutson each hit triples as the Thunder took a 30-11 advantage into halftime.
Hailey Cole took a steal coast to coast and then dished out the assist to Hutson's three.

The Thunder opened the second half with a 17-3 run to take a commanding 34 point lead. Wagner scored the first seven then assisted on the tenth when
Sierra Hinds buried a triple.
Zoe Willems made a layup and then it was again Wagner's turn, taking a steal the distance for two more.

Trine quickly went to the bench in the fourth quarter, and just as quicky it became the
Alexis Snodgrass show. She first hit a pair of free throws to start a series of four consecutive scores. The next possession she hit a paint jumper. Snodgrass then ventured out behind the three point line for her next scores, splashing a pair as she finished with 10 points.

Trine will take their unbeaten record to Grand Rapids, Mich. on Wednesday for a date with the Calvin Knights. That game tips at 7:30 p.m.
