SEWANEE, Tenn. – A tough defensive battle resulted in a draw for the Trine Women's Soccer team against Transylvania this afternoon in Tennessee. Senior Sophie Aschenmeier and Junior Madison Kinneer combined for a shutout in goal.
 
The Thunder outshot the Pioneers 22-10 and held a 13-4 advantage in shots on goal and a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks. Senior Bella Mabry led the Thunder with six shots and three shots on goal. Aschenmeier and Kinneer each recorded two saves to keep the Pioneers off the board.
 
Trine returns to the pitch tomorrow to face Mary Hardin-Baylor at 12 p.m.
