ANGOLA, Ind. – Head Coach Jamie Wozniak earned her 200^th career victory this afternoon inside Hershey Hall. Trine took down DePauw in three sets in the opener for victory 199 and Marian (Wisc.) in four sets in the night cap for the milestone win.
 
Trine dominated the first match against the Tigers recording 12 aces and 7 blocks in the 25-20, 25-14, 25-22 win. Madison Dominick led the Thunder with 13 kills and Anna Zellers registered 22 assists. Catherine Dobies and Zellers each had 3 aces. The Thunder raced out to a 5-1 lead in set one before DePauw came back for to claim an 11-10 lead, Trine was able to control the set the rest of the way for the win. In set two Trine dominated early and often, taking leads of 6-2, 16-8, and 20-10 before claiming the set 25-14. Set three was very close the whole way. DePauw held a late 17-14 and 20-19 lead. An ace from Kacie Van Kalker and kill from Cassidy Victor gave Trine the lead at 22-20. DePauw was able to tie the match before Trine clinched it with two Tiger attack errors.
 
The Thunder took down the Sabres in match two 25-22, 20-25, 25-20, and 25-23 again notching 12 aces and 7 blocks. Dominick and Zellers again led with 12 kills and 24 assists, respectively. Kylie Rowland had half of the Thunders aces with 6. Emma Leatherman blocked 4 Marian attack attempts. Marian took a 12-10 lead before a 5-0 run gave Trine a 15-12 lead. Marian battled back for an 18-17 lead before the hosts closed on an 8-4 run.  The Sabres pounced on Trine early in set two and cruised to a 25-20 victory. Sets three and four were led wire to wire by the Thunder to claim the match and deliver Coach Wozniak her 200^th victory.
 
Trine travels to Bluffton University Friday Sept. 27^th for a match up with the Beavers.
