Junior Anna Zellers dished out 25 assists and Freshman Georgia Pogue pitched in 22 more. Trine jumped out to a 5-0 lead to start set one but the Lynx were able to come back and tie the match seven times before Trine close with a 7-4 run to take set one. Set two was controlled by the Lynx, taking a 5-4 lead they would never relinquish. Set three and four were slugfests that saw neither team lead by more than two throughout. Trine and Rhodes split the sets, with each team winning one 28-26. Set five saw Rhodes jump out to a 7-3 lead and looked to be in control but kills from Zellers and Dominick sparked a furious rally by the Thunder, closing on a 12-4 run to take the match.

Trine took down Kenyon in four sets 25-13, 22-25, 25-17, and 25-20 in the second match. Dominick again led all players with 12 kills, and also served up four aces.
