ANGOLA, Ind. – The Defending National Champion Trine University men's basketball team has announced their 2024-25 schedule. The Thunder open the season with the Steve Green Classic facing off with Mary Hardin-Baylor on November 8
th. Trine opens MIAA play by hosting Kalamazoo inside the MTI center on January 8th.

Trine's schedule features 25 games, with 11 non-conference games and 14 MIAA games in a double round-robin set up. The Thunder will play 13 home contests. Trine will play 3 teams that were in the NCAA Tournament last season.

After opening the season against UMHB, the Thunder will host Wabash the next night. Trine opens the road portion of their schedule with a trip to Berea, Ohio for a date with Baldwin Wallace on Nov. 15. Trine returns to the MTI for a two game stand against Anderson on Nov. 21 and Elmhurst on Nov. 23. The Thunder will then hit the road for a four game road trip. First, is a trip to Columbus, Ohio for two games against Ohio Wesleyan and Capital on Nov. 30 and December 1
st. Trine then heads north to Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a Dec. 7 match up with the Pointers. After a break for finals and the holidays, Trine closes the road non-conference schedule with a trip to Franklin on Dec. 28. The Thunder return to MTI to finish the non-conference schedule with games against Manchester on Dec. 30 and Illinois Tech on Jan. 4.

The Thunder open MIAA play against Kalamazoo on Jan. 8 before traveling to Olivet on Jan. 11. Trine then plays host for five of their next six starting by hosting Alma and Albion on January 15
th and 18
th. They travel to Adrian for a mid-week match up on Jan. 22 before a three game home stand against Hope, Calvin, and Adrian. Those games are scheduled for January 25, 29, and February 1
st. The Thunder close the season with five of six games on the road, starting with a three game road trip with a rematch of last season's MIAA Championship game against Hope on Feb. 5, Alma Feb. 8, and Albion Feb. 12. Trine's home finale is February 15
th when they will host Olivet. They will close the season with games at Kalamazoo on Feb. 19 and at Calvin Feb. 22.
