HOLLAND, Mich. - It was a tough night for the Trine University women's soccer team as they fell 4-0 to Hope College. The Thunder drop to 3-11-2 on the season and 1-9-2 in the conference.

The Thunder fell behind early as Hope put up two goals in the first 10 minutes.  The Flying Dutch scored in the 6th and 9th minutes to lead 2-0 at the half.

Trine's defense held strong through the first part of the second half but Hope was able to break through in the second period when 67th minute. The Flying Dutch would add a goal late in the game with just 12 minutes left.

Trine attempted four shots for the game, with freshman Amy Williams (Fort Wayne, Ind./Northrop) having the lone shot on net.

In goal for the Thunder, senior Jen Wall (New Haven, Ind./New Haven) posted eight saves, including five in the first half.

Trine will travel to Alma College on October 20 for a 4:00 p.m. game.
