Trine University

Lauren Hitzeman is in her seventh year at Trine University, being named Head Athletic Trainer in September 2024. At Trine, Lauren works with the women’s soccer and men’s lacrosse programs. Prior to coming to Trine University, Lauren worked at the University of Saint Francis (IN) and Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne. Lauren earned her Master’s in Health Science with a Rehabilitation focus from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2018 and her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio Northern University in 2016. Originally from Liberty Center, OH, Lauren now resides in Angola, IN with her husband, daughter, and two huskies.
Lauren is a certified and licensed athletic trainer employed with Parkview Sports Medicine and an adjunct professor at Trine University.
