Garrett Duffin

Garrett Duffin joined the Trine Men’s Basketball staff as an assistant before the 2024-25 season.

Prior to Trine, Duffin worked as the Director of Player Development for Minnesota State University, Mankato for the 2023-2024 season. During his tenure the Mavericks won the NCAA Division II National Championship. He also spent three seasons with Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Ill. as a volunteer assistant while attending Physical Therapy School. While at Waubonsee, the Chiefs add their most successful season in school history, advancing to the NJCAA Division II Elite Eight. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University in May 2023.

Duffin played collegiately at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Ill. from 2015-2017 before finishing his career at Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wis. In his final season for Lakeland, Duffin started in 20 of 25 games, averaging nine points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 35% from three.

Duffin is a native of Princeton, Illinois, graduating from Princeton High School in 2015.
