EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Trine University men's cross country team competed at the Michigan State Cross Country Invitational this morning at Forest Akers Golf Course. The Thunder placed 13^th of 23 teams with 383 points.
 
Nick Spielman placed 54^th for Trine and finished the 8k race in 25:53.1 to lead the Thunder. Brady Millington was 85^th for the Thunder in 26:32.2. Clay Batio and Alex Hamilton were 114^th and 116^th in 27:02.0 and 27:03.5, respectively. Zack Gaynor rounded out the top five in 126^th place, finishing in 27:09.3.
 
Trine returns to action in three weeks at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on October 2 and the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic on October 3.
