ADRIAN, Mich. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced the members of their men's and women's All-Academic Teams for the 2025-26 school year. Trine University had 29 student-athletes recognized from the men's team and 18 from the women's team.
The Thunder men led all schools with their 29 honorees. Six members of the team made their third appearance on the list including seniors Sam Antenucci, Evan Carroll, Sean Henry, Brendan Hill, Kyle Kozma and Josh Wright. A massive 18 members of the team made their second appearance. Senior Jack Cooper along with juniors Aleksa Babic, Michael DiPietra, Brendan Finn, Logan Furstenau, Ethan Janda, Keiton Klein, Noah Marino and Blake Tierney. Sophomores Alexander Babich, Kyle DeMarco, Luke deVries, Dylan Glinski, Drew Jeffers, Trayce Johnson, Max Marquette, Ronnie Petrucci, Blake Tierney and Lem Vardy also made their second appearance. Juniors Douglas Andersson and Peyton Grainer along with freshmen Brody Simko, Brett Wall and Nick White all made their debuts.
Senior Lauren Lacroix headlined the women's team delegation, making her third appearance on the list. Senior Aleah Bienek, juniors Abigale Bruner, Dorka Gengeliczky, Kallie Graham, Sofia Koppa, Hannah Lambers, Olivia Porthan, Clare Schmaltz, Emma-Lyn Stephenson and Sydne Streb along with sophomores Annie Kindseth, Sophia Vidmo and Ryleigh White each made their second appearance. Freshmen Cassandra Biblow, Abby Hargrave-Thomas, Ella Porter and Maya Shtrom made their debuts on the list.
In all, 396 student-athletes were honored across the NCHA. To qualify for the NCHA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete needs to have a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or higher.Â
