NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced its 2026 NCAA Division III All-Region teams. The Trine University women's track and field team had seven athletes earn ten All-Great Lakes Region honors.
Bailey Puckett led the Thunder with three selections;
Hannah Flores Ness had a pair of her own.
The top eight individuals and relays in each of the 10 regions earned all-region awards. The rankings are determined by the TFRRS descending order list and are compiled from the entirety of the outdoor season. Trine is a part of the Great Lakes Region.
Puckett earned All-Region status in the 800-, 1500-, and 5000-meter runs. Her time of 4:25.77 in the 1500 meters led the region by over five seconds and is the program record, besting that of Evie Miller (Bultemeyer) from 2022. The time is second fastest in MIAA history and qualified Puckett for the NCAA Championships tomorrow. Her 800-meter time of 2:11.78 is second best in the region, third fastest in Trine history, and seventh best in MIAA history. Her 5000-meter time ranked third in the region. She clocked 16:59.35 and became the second woman in program history to cover the distance in under 17 minutes.
Flores Ness claimed a pair of firsts for the Trine women's track and field program. The freshman was named All-Region in the high jump and heptathlon, both the first for a Trine woman. Flores Ness' mark in the high jump of 1.62 meters/5' 3.75" is the program record an ranked seventh in the region. Her 3,964 points in the heptathlon are also the program record and ranked sixth in the region.
Olivia Andrews joined Flores Ness in marking a first for the Thunder. Andrews became the first Trine woman to earn All-Region status in the pole vault. Andrews cleared 3.78 meters/12' 4.75" and established a new program record. She ranked second in the region and is fifth in MIAA history.
Chloe Goodrich and
Grace Dubsky earned All-Region status in the 10,000-meter run. Goodrich ranked third in the region in 36:08.60 while Dubsky was eighth in 36:44.81. The duo rank third and fifth in program history.
Brooklyn Kerry claimed All-Region honors in the triple jump with a leap of 11.82 meters/38' 9.5". She now owns the program record and finished fourth in the region. Her jump is the third farthest in MIAA history.
Eleanor Young claimed All-Region in the 1500-meter run. Young was third in the region with a time of 4:33.39. Her time is third fastest in Trine history.
