ANDERSON, Ind. – The Trine University women's tennis team finish the fall portion of their schedule undefeated after taking down their hosts from Anderson (Ind.) University by the score of 6-1.

The Thunder opened the competition by taking two of the three doubles matches to capture the first point of the day. The No. 3 team of Emma Beehler and Addison Lockwood started the day with a convincing 6-1 victory. Emilee Bassett and Emily Hatseras followed behind in the No. 2 match with a 6-3 victory.

Beehler became the first member of the team to earn a second victory in the match, winning the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-2. Hatseras also achieved the feat with a 6-4, 6-2 win in the No. 5 match. Cali Mickley won her only competition of the day with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the No. 6 match.

Elina Locane and Alexis Maloney rebounded from a doubles loss by each securing wins in the singles part of the day. Locane won the top match 6-3, 6-2 while Maloney took the No. 4 match 6-2, 6-0.

The Thunder finish the fall with a 6-0 record. They will next compete when they travel to Orlando, Fla. for their Spring Break Trip. They are set to have their first match of that trip on Monday, March 2.
