LILBURN, Ga. – The Women's Basketball Coaches' Association has announced their 2025-26 preseason poll. The Trine University women's basketball team checks in at #20 in the poll. Trine finished last season ranked #17 in the WBCA poll.
 
The Thunder earned their eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance last season and have won at least one game in each appearance. Trine defeated Transylvania in the first round last season before falling to hosts Illinois Wesleyan.
 
Trine leads a trio of MIAA schools in the poll. Calvin checks in right behind Trine at #21 and Hope is the first team listed in the "Others Receiving Votes" section.
