ANGOLA, Ind. – The Defending MIAA Champion Trine University Women's Basketball team has announced their 2024-25 schedule. The Thunder open the season with a trip to Milwaukee to take on Wisconsin Lutheran on November 9^th. Trine opens MIAA play at home with Calvin on December 4th.
 
Trine's schedule features 25 games, with 9 non-conference games and 16 MIAA games in a double round-robin set up. The Thunder will play 13 home contests. Trine's schedule features six games against teams that made last season's NCAA Tournament.
 
After opening the season against Wisconsin Lutheran, the Thunder will host the Cameron Hospital Classic November 15^th and 16^th, Trine will play Lake Forest and Allegheny, respectively. On November 20^th the Thunder travel to Berea, Ohio for a match up with Baldwin Wallace, they return to the MTI center on November 23^rd for a date with Ohio Northern. Both BW and ONU were NCAA Tournament teams a season ago. Trine takes a pause from non-conference competition for a two-game MIAA slate, first, in the friendly confines with Calvin on Dec. 4 and then on the road taking on Albion, December 7th. Trine returns to non-conference action for the Trine Holiday Classic on December 19^th and 20^th, the Thunder will play Mount St. Joseph on night one and Millikin on night two. After a week off, Trine will close the non-conference slate in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on December 29^th and 30^th facing off with Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Ripon. Both of those teams were tournament teams last season, along with Millikin.
 
The Thunder then travel to Saint Mary's and Alma on January 4^th and 8^th to kick off 2025. On Jan. 11 the Thunder will square off in a rematch of last season's MIAA Championship game with Hope. They will hit the road for match ups with Adrian and Kalamazoo on January 15^th and 18^th. The Thunder return to the MTI Center for a two game home stand with Olivet on Jan. 22 and Albion on Jan. 25. On January 29^th Trine heads to Grand Rapids, Mich. to take on Calvin. The Thunder return to Angola for a three game home stand where they'll take on Saint Mary's on February 1^st, on Feb. 8 they'll play Alma and then close out the homestretch against Adrian. On Feb. 15 Trine will make the return trip to Hope for a key, late season MIAA match up. On Feb. 19 the Thunder travel to Olivet and on Feb. 22 Trine closes out the regular season in the MTI Center against Kalamazoo.
